Looking for a fun, family-friendly event in Kelowna this spring? We’re excited to share that Balkanagan will be joining the upcoming Colours for Caring Run at Ben Lee Park on Sunday, May 24, 2026.
As a local food truck vendor inspired by bold European flavours, we love being part of events that bring the community together, especially when they support an important cause.
What is The Colours FOr Caring Run?
The second annual Colours for Caring Run is a vibrant community fundraiser organized by Childhood Connections. The event supports programs and resources for children, youth, and families across the Okanagan.
Participants of all ages are invited to walk, jog, or run through colourful powder stations while enjoying music, family activities, and community connection. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or simply looking for a fun Sunday outing, this event is designed for everyone.
The day includes:
- A 1km to 3km colour run or walk
- Family-friendly activities and kids zone
- BBQ and community gathering
- Vibrant colour splash stations
- Event t-shirts and sunglasses included with registration
Best of all, proceeds go directly toward supporting local families and youth programs in Kelowna.
BALKANAGAN WILL BE Serving Coffee & Crepes
Balkanagan is proud to support the event by providing complimentary coffee for the incredible staff and volunteers helping make the day possible. Community events like this rely on dedicated volunteers, and we’re happy to help keep everyone fueled throughout the day.
We’ll also be bringing one of our customer favourites, our Balkan-style crepes, available for purchase during the event. If you’ve been wanting to try our European-inspired street food, this is the perfect opportunity to stop by and grab something delicious after the run.
Whether you’re participating in the colour run, cheering on friends and family, or simply enjoying the festivities, we’d love for you to come visit us at the park.
